Pipilika
Pipilika is Sanskrit for ant, social by nature, resilient by necessity, and stronger together.
Pipilika curates concise, well-sourced stories about the natural world, because you can't protect what you don't connect with.
Every story keeps to the essential. Nothing dramatised.

The Pipilika Editorial Principles
Brevity is a discipline, not a shortcut. Every story is edited down to what matters, so every sentence earns its place.
The short version is never the whole story. Readers who want more can go further — context, sources, related reporting — without leaving the piece behind.
The forest is dramatic enough on its own. No manufactured urgency, no weaponised grief — we report what happened and leave the interpretation to you.
Every story names its sources. Images are credited, references are visible, and nothing is asserted without a trail back to where it came from.

From the Founder
Jayottam's interest in the natural world began with wildlife documentaries and grew through years of travel across India's national parks. He later served as a Forest Ranger in the Sundarbans and now works in Earth Observation and scientific forest management.
Pipilika brings together those experiences in a simpler format: concise briefings on wildlife, habitats and the landscapes that connect them.
The aim is straightforward — to make natural history more accessible without sacrificing context, so every story stands on its own.
Pipilika is an independent project and continues to evolve through reader feedback.
